After some disappointment with Edmonton Red Tour where Martino Estrada should have been our leader to lead the team for the GC but missed the form for illness. Result that the team put him out the tour to focus on the one day races only and in particular the Hawaii Classic. This was a complete success.
Amazonia was so happy to get his 1st trophy and congrats Martino for his spectacular win and the team who did a enormous job to lead him at the bottom of the last hill. The rest was just a question of experience and time to launch the perfect sprint.
Our new rider Huberto Zaga from Colombia will target the Perm Tour. The goal is to fight for the GC and also for the Young Jersey. We hope the team will bring all the support needed to Huberto.
After Perm Amazonia will turn his focus on Kangaroo Tour if the team can be qualified or Giro Di Sicilia. Our leader Sergio Bergasa will lead the team for the GC and will have a strong support.
Our new rider from Argentina Durango Garate is focusing on Time trial and already did a fantastic job taking his 1st victory on the prologue of Edmonton Red Tour. We hope he would have good result during the season many time trials are coming.
Without to forget that Mauritio Lianos & Patrico Illan are still continuing to gain in experience and trying their best during one day races.
The team is looking to hang a Jersey along the nice Hawaii trophy :)
